Terms, in plain language.

These terms apply to every purchase from trykilde.com and to the use of this site. Current to 18 September 2026.

1. What you are buying

A Kilde pack is a set of downloadable files — a PDF and, where stated, editable versions of its templates — containing organised regulatory information, templates, checklists and runbooks. The pack's page describes its contents and the date it is current to. Digital products are delivered by download immediately after payment.

2. Who sells it

Purchases are processed by Polar Software Inc. ("Polar") acting as merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, handles VAT and sales tax, issues the receipt and processes refunds; card processing is performed by Stripe. Polar's own terms apply to the payment transaction. Kilde is the author and publisher of the content and provides the download and any updates.

3. Licence

Each purchase grants you, the buyer, a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the pack within your own organisation: to adapt the templates, complete them, and use them in your compliance work. You may not resell, redistribute, publish or share the pack outside your organisation, or use it to build a competing product. Downloaded copies are stamped with an order-specific identifier.

4. Not legal advice

Kilde is not a law firm. Nothing on this site or in a pack is legal advice, a legal opinion, an audit, an assessment or a certification, and buying a pack creates no attorney-client relationship. The packs state where an outcome depends on your facts; those decisions are yours and your advisers'. Kilde is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by any regulator, agency, standards body or institution named in its materials.

5. Accuracy and updates

Every pack states the date it is current to and cites its sources; the verification log and changelog are public. Regulations change. Kilde updates each pack through the deadline it was bought for and notifies buyers by email where an address was given for that purpose. Kilde does not warrant that a pack is complete for every situation.

6. Refunds

Every product carries a 14-day unconditional refund, described on the refunds page, which forms part of these terms.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kilde's total liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud. Consumers in the EU and UK keep the statutory rights their law gives them.

8. Site content

The free guides, radar and updates on this site are general information, provided as-is, and may be quoted with attribution and a link. They carry the same not-legal-advice limits as the packs.

9. Contact and governing law

Questions about these terms: esau@trykilde.com. Kilde operates from Hong Kong; these terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
